RestaurantsWhen Morley and Associates Architecture sets out to design a restaurant for a client, we always aim to create a building which adapts to the business strategy. It should not only be aesthetic, but also functional. Therefore, we always attempt to gain a full understanding of the operation before a design is created. In addition, we always try to capture an authentic and inviting atmosphere. This is a 10,000 sq. ft. Japanese-American steakhouse that consists of a fully functional commercial kitchen, downdraft hibachi tables, and a custom-designed thirty-seat sushi bar. It also includes a traditional Japanese sunken dining room and a koy pond featuring a foot bridge. Throughout the entire design process we made a special effort to consider the comfort level of future customers (i.e. space planning and lighting). These patrons will feel like they are experiencing Japan , without ever leaving the comfortable surroundings of the United States . We listen to the needs of our clients, and then turn their imagination into a realization.
Nagasaki InnThe Nagasaki Inn combines Japanese tradition with American culture. After conducting extensive research, we came up with a design that suits both needs. It features a koy pond with a foot bridge, downdraft hibachi tables, a thirty-seat sushi bar, and a traditional Japanese sunken floor dining room.
