Engineering- Structural / Hydraulics / Environmental Engineer - This position conducts hydraulics studies for storm flows and designs control structures for runoff flood control and environmental quality improvement. In addition the position designs structures for sewage treatment, pumping stations and both pressure and gravity pipe systems. Structural designs include industrial buildings, pipe racks, conveyor systems as well as in ground tanks, retaining walls, foundations and hydraulic gate structures. The tools which allow the Structural/ Hydraulics/ Environmental Engineer to accomplish these duties include: steel and concrete structural analysis and design programs, flood routing programs, hydraulic programs, treatment analysis programs, pollutant analysis programs, along with CAD Proficiency. For this position at Morley and Associates, Inc., we require the successful completion of a baccalaureate level degree in Civil Engineering, or its equivalent as well as a demonstrated strong interest in Structural/ Hydraulics/ Environmental topics, plus some work or internship experience with governmental agencies or firms submitting to governmental agencies. - Site Development Engineer - We presently have an opening for a Civil Engineer with emphasis in site development. Project assignments will involve the following: development and review of site developments and subdivisions; preparation of technical reports and permits; and communication with federal, state and local regulatory agencies. A high level of verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a development team are essential. A degree is required and licensure as a P.E. is desired.
